I know I said I wouldn't upload art here anymore. But stamps aren't 'art' c:

READ THE DESCRIPTION

I see too many stamps of a certain animal being praised or thought as the most dangerous thing in the world that needs to be kept away from all of humanity. But I haven't really seen any stamps supporting respecting animals. You can love an animal without praising it so much that you'd make the mistake of treding on it's territory (looking at you wolfaboos). You can also dislike an animal but allow them to be because by instinct, animals will attack when they feel threatened, hungry or invaded. It's something they can't help, even if they were trained otherwise.

Was going to go on a rant of some sort but words cannot come to mind. I will say this, for anyone who is concerned about the whole hunt ordeal. THIS IS NOT AN OPINION AGAINST HUNTING. It is quite possible to hunt animals and still respect them.

This is what I feel is wrong with a lot off people, in that I see less and less respect for animals every day. It's kind of saddening.

I sometimes stop by this building while I'm working to see if there are any bats hanging on a wall. I stop to admire these bats every chance I get. Deep down, I have the urge to go up to one and touch its fur. I know better than to do so, however.

I respect animals. But I also eat them.

Yeah.
I love animals, but that doesn't mean I praise them or cuddle them all time.

There are also those people who say and even believe they 'love' animals but when they come to one they just cuddle or play with it, without thinking the animal might not like their way of playing. This goes especially for little kids, but I've seen older people (not really 18+, but old enough they should know better about animals) who apparently don't know that you can love an animal without having it in your hands.

Most of the time my cat just sits next to me and I pet her every few minuets. We have a deal. I pet her when she wants it, she doesn't sit on my laptop.

Exactly. I'm an avid animal lover myself, I couldn't harm an animal if I tried (this is not to say I'm against hunting, since that is a neccessity), but I know when an animal has had enough of me or doesn't want me to pick it up.

I love animals, my favorite being a large predator, but I keep a healthy distance from them unless the show it's okay for me to approach. Like my neighbor's hyperactive dog that tries to lick you to death.

That's generally the best idea with any animal, even with house pets.

I love animals, but I have enough common sense not to go into their territory if I know it's something that will eat me. And I also don't think they're the most amazing thing ever. And there really isn't an animal out there that I hate so much that I want ti to suffer ... so, I guess I respect animals too, for the most part. :U
